What is water weight loss?

Water weight loss is the process of ingesting a certain amount of water under strict fasting, diet, and exercise.  The amount of water consumed depends on the weight and size of the individual that is about to drink it.  In one study of healthy men and women, published in The Journal of Endocrinology & Metabolism, drinking about 16 ounces of water temporarily spiked participants’ metabolic rate by 30 percent. The researchers concluded that increasing water intake by 1.5 liters (about six eight-ounce glasses) per day would increase daily caloric burn by about 200 calories. Water weight loss diet is gradually becoming increasingly popular.

While the American Council on Exercise recommends that active women (you!) drink 2.7 liters or 91 ounces of water per day, Kaufman recommends drinking 16 of those ounces before hitting the gym and another eight ounces every 30 minutes during your sweat session (Ref: WomensHealthMag).

Lemon Water Weight Loss Recipe

This is my favorite water weight loss recipe.  Once you prepare it, keep it refrigerated for a minimum of 12 hours.  Drink it early in the morning with fasting (No breakfast till midday)

1 Organic Lemon
16 Ounces of water or a bottle of water




Slice the organic lemon into pieces and put them in the water before refrigerating.  DO NOT ice it. Drink a cup of the mixture first thing in the morning without adding any other thing to it.
